The "AirPort Utility" is supplied on the disc which ships with the new square 802.11b/g/n AirPort Extreme base station (AEBS). 

 

Lost disc? 

If you lose the disc, you can get the "AirPort Utility" using this procedure:

  1. Download the AirPort Base Station Update 2007-001 file from: www.apple.com/support/downloads/airportbasestationupdate2007001formac.html
  2. Double-click AirPortBaseStationUpdate2007001.dmg to mount and display it's contents.
  3. From the AirPortUtilityUpdate window, right-click on "AirPortBaseStationUpdate2007001.mpkg."
  4. Select "Show Package Contents" from the pop-up menu.
  5. In the "AirPortBaseStationUpdate2007001.mpkg" window, double-click on the "Contents" folder to open it.
  6. In the "Contents" window, double-click on the "Packages" folder to open it.
  7. Right-click on "AirPortUtility.pkg."
  8. Select "Show Package Contents" from the pop-up menu.
  9. In the "AirPortUtility.pkg window, double-click on the "Contents" folder to open it.
  10. Double-click on "Archive.pax.gz." This will create a new folder on your Desktop, named "Applications." The AirPort Utility will be inside this new folder. You can copy or move it to your Applications folder.
